Agri-Food Export Group invites you to the 4th Canadian Agri-food Export Gala, to be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010, on the occasion of SIAL Canada, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. The evening is seen as a prime networking opportunity by the 500 guests who will be attending.

The Agri-Food Export Group invites the Canadian agri-food firms to submit their applications for two Canadian Business awards: Canadian Export Business Award and Canada Brand Business Award.

Finalists and the winners at the Canadian Agri-Food Export Gala will enjoy valuable exposure in the media and industry when prizes will be awarded on April 21, 2010. This is a unique opportunity to have your company shine on the international stage—be it small, medium-sized, or large.

Trading houses and companies in the service and distribution sectors are not eligible.

CANADIAN EXPORT BUSINESS AWARD

To be eligible for the 2010 Canadian Export Business Award, your company must be a Canadian farming and/or food processing business that has been exporting its products outside its province of origin for at least three years. Please note that trading houses and companies in the service and distribution sectors are not eligible.

CANADIAN BRAND BUSINESS AWARD

To be eligible for the Canada Brand Business Award, your company must be a Canadian farming and/or food processing business active that has been exporting its products outside its province of origin for at least three years. It must also be drawing on the promise embodied in the Canada Brand image to reach its objectives.
