Traveling to Montreal

Coming by train?
The AMTRAK Adirondack train route travels daily from New York City, through the Hudson Valley, into Montreal. The train has service from New York’s Penn Station to Montreal’s Gare Centrale Station.  For more information on schedules and tickets, visit the AMTRAK website by following this link.
 
Coming by bus?

Driving?

Passport Requirement for U.S. Citizens.
 
AIRTRAVEL
ALLPERSONS traveling by air outside of the United States are required to present a passport or other valid travel document to enter or re-enter the United States.
 
LAND AND SEA TRAVEL
ALLPERSONS traveling by land or sea outside the United States are required to present a passport book/card, or other valid document to enter or re-enter the United States.

Effective June 1, 2009, all U.S. citizens are now required to present a passport book, passport card, or WHTI-compliant document when entering the United States.
